The 2023 Nissan Leaf comes in two trim levels and offers two battery options so that you can choose the ideal trim and battery pack for the range you need.

The base Nissan Leaf S comes with a 40-kWh battery pack that offers 149 miles of EPA range on a single charge. At the same time, the Nissan Leaf SV Plus packs a bigger 60 kWh battery that offers an EPA range of up to 212 miles per charge, letting you hit the road to adventure.

How Can You Extend the Range of the 2023 Nissan Leaf?

The 2023 Nissan Leaf has several innovative features that help extend its electric drive range. For instance, the Nissan Leaf comes with a B-Mode, aka regenerative braking. It captures energy every time you decelerate or brake and uses it to charge the battery, thereby helping extend the range. You can use the Nissan Leaf’s B-Mode on downhills to capture and convert braking energy to charge your battery.

The Nissan Leaf also features an “Eco Mode,” which helps extend the range. This mode works by boosting the Nissan Leaf’s already efficient motor even more.
