Two engines can be selected for the Nissan Altima, such as the 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that produces up to 188 horsepower. You’ll also find the available 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 248 horsepower. Although front-wheel drive (FWD) comes standard, you can also get the available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD). With the standard drivetrain, you’ll achieve an EPA-estimated 28 city/39 highway MPG for great gas mileage.1
