Simple Exchange

We understand that sometimes we don’t get it right. When a vehicle gets delivered to a customer who later has doubts about their choice, we feel the need to make it right. Because of this, with every pre-owned purchase, we offer you our Simple Exchange program, allowing you a do-over! Here’s how it works…

If you purchase a pre-owned vehicle from San Leandro Nissan and later decide the vehicle is not the one you dreamed of, we will accept your vehicle for an exchange so long as these guidelines are met:

The vehicle being exchanged:

• Is returned within 3 days of the delivery date;
• Is exchanged with an odometer mileage of less than 200 miles from when it was delivered;
• Is in the similar or same condition from when it was purchased, without damage or abnormal wear and tear; and
• Has not been resold or transferred to any person or entity.

Here are some other important things you should know:

• We will transfer any amount you previously paid toward the replacement vehicle purchase. This includes the down payment, agreed-upon trade-in value, and any amounts paid toward the principal balance of the finance or lease agreement.
• If the purchase price of the replacement vehicle is less than the purchase price of the vehicle being returned, you will receive credit for the difference. If the purchase price of the replacement vehicle is more, you will be responsible for the difference.
• Only 1 exchange per customer and/or transaction.
• Exchange is subject to the lender’s approval in case a loan was obtained to purchase the car.
