1. Powertrain and Drivetrain

All five trims of the 2024 Pathfinder have a powerful 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine, which has an output of 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. The exception to this output is the Rock Creek trim, which can produce 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque with the same engine configuration. Features such as idle stop/start, electronic drive-by-wire throttle, and a direct injection system are all standard. 

The S, SV, SL, and Platinum trims are each available with a 2WD or a 4WD drivetrain, while the Rock Creek trim is only available as a 4WD model. The drivetrain is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission with a Manual Mode, electronic shifter, and paddle shifter. 2WD models have a Drive and Terrain Mode Switch with five modes, while 4WD models have a Drive and Terrain Mode dial selector with seven modes.

2. Fuel Economy

The fuel economy for the Pathfinder depends on the model configuration. 3. Driver Assistance

The SV and Rock Creek trims have ProPILOT Assist, while the SL and Platinum trims have ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link. 

4. Capacities

The S, SV, and SL trims can each seat up to eight passengers with a second-row bench seat. The interior volume without a moonroof for these trims is 148.5 cubic feet, and 145.2 cubic feet without a moonroof. The SV, SL, Rock Creek, and Platinum trims can seat seven passengers with second-row captain’s chairs. The cargo capacity with both rear seats folded down is 80.5 cubic feet for all trims. 

The maximum standard towing capacity for the S, SV, and SL trims is 3,500 lbs. When the SV, SL, Rock Creek, and Platinum trims are fully equipped, the Pathfinder can tow up to 6,000 lbs.
